As a property Landlord, it is your responsibility to ensure your tenants are safe. Landlords must arrange annual safety inspections for gas appliances and ensure oil heating systems are serviced regularly.
You are required to have a Landlord Safety Inspection carried out every 12 months.
For gas appliances, inspections are carried out by a qualified engineer registered with the Gas Safe Register. During the visit we check all gas appliances, test for leaks and carbon monoxide, and issue a Gas Safety Certificate.
We also service and inspect Oil Boiler systems. Oil heating work is carried out by engineers registered with OFTEC.
